Colony Command & Governance (Solace Colony)
The leadership core of Solace Colony. Command oversees administration, security, and coordination between Starfleet personnel, civilians, and Crossroads Station authorities. The provisional council advises on policy, ethics, and daily management as the colony establishes its new identity far from the Federation.
Colony Commander Colony First Officer Colony Yeoman The Command Yeoman — Administrative Officer manages all records, correspondence, and scheduling within Solace Colony’s command structure. In the absence of full Starfleet infrastructure, she also oversees requisitions, data tracking, and communications routing to Crossroads Station. Her efficiency and adaptability have made her an indispensable anchor for both officers and civilians struggling to maintain a sense of order far from home. -
~Provisional Colony Council (sub-dept)
Formed in the first days after arrival, the Provisional Colony Council serves as Solace’s emerging leadership body—part government, part crisis committee. It balances Starfleet command structure with civilian representation, making policy decisions that shape the colony’s growth, resource management, and interactions with Crossroads Station. Two seats remain vacant, reflecting both the colony’s limited personnel and its evolving identity as it learns to govern itself in a universe beyond the Federation’s reach.

Colony Engineering & Operations (Solace Colony)
Responsible for maintaining Solace’s power grid, life-support systems, and environmental controls. With limited staff and equipment, engineers often repurpose existing technology or barter components through Crossroads Station. Their ingenuity keeps the colony running despite constant shortages.
Colony Chief Engineer Oversees colony power grid, environmental systems, and habitat maintenance. Engineering Specialist Engineer Tactical Systems/weapons Specialist An engineering scientist specializing in xeno-offensive and defensive systems focuses not on their use in battle, but on their functionality and vulnerabilities. These individuals understand the signs left behind after the use of these systems and are knowledgeable about the various tactical systems employed in the Alpha and Beta quadrants. Due to the nature of their specialty, they also receive a degree of tactical training, as they are expected to know how to deal with and neutralize booby traps. -
~Operations Team (sub-dept)
The Operations Team handles the daily technical heartbeat of Solace Colony. They monitor power distribution, computer systems, communications, and resource logistics, ensuring the colony’s limited infrastructure continues to function despite outdated equipment and constant demands. Working side-by-side with Engineering, Operations keeps everything synchronized—from environmental controls and replicator cycles to data relays with Crossroads Station. Their efficiency and improvisation often mean the difference between stability and crisis.
Technician One of a few technicians responsible for maintaining infrastructure, communications, and power distribution. There is no dedicated transporter section; only improvised systems are used.

Colony Science Division (Solace Colony)
The Science Division is responsible for all research and data analysis conducted within Solace Colony, balancing planetary survival studies with ongoing cross-universal collaboration.
The Science Division Lead serves as the senior scientist on the colony, directing all internal research initiatives and supervising specialists across the physical, environmental, and life sciences. Their team monitors the artificial planet’s structure, atmosphere, and ecosystem integrity, working closely with Engineering to stabilize local systems and preserve long-term habitability.
Working alongside—but independently from—the Lead, the Scientific Exchange Delegate represents Solace Colony to Crossroads Station’s Research Consortium and ShadowDragon Enterprises. The Delegate manages data-sharing agreements, off-world collaborations, and policy compliance, while ensuring that Federation scientific ethics remain intact within a corporate environment.

Transportation Liaison Officer Acts as Solace’s primary contact with Crossroads Station logistics. Manages requisitions for shuttle service, cargo transfers, and personnel transport. Tracks colony supplies in transit and negotiates priority schedules for urgent deliveries. -

Crossroads Liaison Officer Serves as Solace Colony’s official representative to Crossroads Station. Coordinates administrative matters, legal permissions, and emergency protocols with station command. Ensures compliance with both Starfleet principles and Crossroads corporate policies. Frequently called upon to mediate misunderstandings born from cultural or procedural differences. Scientific Exchange Delegate Serves as Solace Colony’s liaison to Crossroads Station’s Research Consortium, safeguarding Federation scientific principles while coordinating inter-universal research projects. Works alongside the Science Division Lead to manage shared studies and policy compliance, operating independently as both advisor and envoy. -
